18 Mother’s Day Gift Ideas for Moms That Love to Cook

Gift Guides

From cute to practical and a few things in between, here’s a list of my (and my mom’s) favorite things in and around the kitchen. It’s the perfect Mother’s Day gift guide for moms that love to cook!

Keurig’s K-Elite Coffee Maker This Keurig has a couple of really nice “extra” features that I use ALL THE TIME like Iced Coffee, Strong Brew, 5 cup sizes, and it can be programmed to turn on at a specific time and stay on for a set number of hours. But my favorite part about this particular Keurig is that you don’t have to wait for it to warm up before inserting your K-Cup and selecting your brew size. You can do that while it’s warming and it’ll start brewing once it’s ready.

Zulay Milk Frother If you like cappuccinos or lattes, this is the gadget you never knew you needed! A friend recommended it to me, but I actually got it for my mom because she’s a bit of a cappuccino snob and loves a thick layer of foam. She was so amazed/obsessed/in love with this milk frother that I bought her a second one for her to keep at her office!

Topadorn Ceramic Travel Mug There’s just something different about the feel of a ceramic coffee mug compared to a plastic one. IYKYK. Though this is not leak proof, the lid does help keep your drink a little safer. These come in several pretty colors and are shipped in a nice decorative box that’s perfect for gift giving, no wrapping needed!

Lodge Enameled Cast Iron Casserole Dish This is the perfect size pan for all those “One Pan” meals. It sautés beautifully and is easy to clean. I’ve actually used this a hundred times more than the dutch pot I originally wanted for Christmas. I have both in the Carribbean Blue and it’s just so vibrant and pretty!

Lodge Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven It’s consistently rated as the top dutch oven and for good reason. It’s ideal for soups and stews, braised meats, and those perfect crusty homemade breads. The best part is it’s about a quarter of the price of the high end brands, but cooks just as well.

Kuhn Rikon Knife Block Is sleek, modern and VERY space saving! It’s also fully washable and very durable (I just checked.. I bought it 6 years ago and it’s still holding up great!) I really just love that it stands the knives upright so it doesn’t get in the way of my prep space.

Instant Pot Duo 6 Qt Instant Pot’s have been trending for a few years now and there’s good reason. They make time consuming cooking QUICK and they are so versatile. Meats become super duper tender, eggs are magically easily to peel, you can slow cook, make your own yogurt… etc. I continue to be obsessed and if your mom’s been eyeing one of these, do her a favor and get it for her. She deserves anything that’ll make her life easier!

Instant Pot Vortex Air Fryer So actually, this is actually my brother’s favorite kitchen gadget, but that still counts right?! My mom and I love air frying too.. but my air fryer is older (an Emeril Lagasse model) and no longer made which is a shame because though it’s a little smaller and single-feature it’s so durable and works like a dream. And my mom is still working her way through various air fryers to find her favorite. So, I took my brother’s suggestion. I’m pretty sure he uses this thing daily and says it’s amazing.

OXO Good Grips Salad Container This is the PERFECT salad container for working mamas! It’s spacious enough for a filling salad, comes with a dressing container and is durable and leak-proof. But the best part is the separator plate. It keeps your dry toppings from getting mushy, but you can also put a protein here and easily warm it up in the microwave before putting it onto your salad. I’ve been raving about it since the day I bought it and it actually made me want to eat salads more often. Win-win.

Oster Cordless Electric Wine Opener When I asked my mom what her favorite kitchen gadget was, her first response was this wine opener. It’s easy to use and comes with a couple nice accessories, but it’s also very convenient and sits on a sleek base so you can have this on display and it’ll fit nicely with any decor.

Cuisinart Rechargeable Salt & Pepper Mill My mom loves her Cuisinart Electric Salt & Pepper Grinders, she has the set with separate grinders for S&P but you know me and my affinity for space-saving so I actually saw this option and am recommending this instead 😬

Reduce Stainless Steel Tumbler Because us busy mama’s gotta stay hydrated and this tumbler fits a decent 34 oz. (yet still fits in most cup holders) and stays cold for a looong time! I love that it comes with a straw and use that almost exclusively but it smartly has a multi-use lid which can be completely closed, sipped from, or gulped down. And there’s so many pretty colors!

Paige McRae Wooden Recipe Box So these next few things are cute or fun things I don’t own but would totally get and I think would make great a Mother’s Day gift for moms that love to cook. First up is this recipe box that comes with all the organizational things, even plastic protectors!! eeek! I liked this one in particular because it has the directions on the BACK of the card so you have a lot more space to write, AND it comes with an extra matching notebook for more recipes.

Boston Warehouse Cookbook and Tablet Holder Honestly, if I had the counter space, I’d get one of these asap … and to be honest, I just saw in the review pictures how someone hangs this on a little command hook on the side of their fridge when not in use and now I think I really am going to get it, haha! When I use cookbooks they are notoriously in the way laying flat on the counter so this would be really useful.

180 Degrees Flower Pot Measuring Spoons I mean, come on. These are so stinking cute!!! And super handy because they can sit on the counter at arm’s reach while also being decorative. If you get these, please get back to me if your mama was as in love as I am lol.

Bamboo Charcuterie Cheese Board Set You could simply use a cutting board for a charcuterie board… but why would you when this one comes with ceramic dishes, a knife & fork set, AND little chalkboard tags with chalk so you can label your foods. And the accessories get neatly stored in a pull out drawer. I mean, honestly. I’m adding this to my own gift wish list lol.

The Pioneer Woman Vintage Floral Salt and Pepper and Butter Dish Set I admit I looove The Pioneer Woman’s floral designed kitchenwares. My sister in law got me a set of her glass storage jars a few years back and I just love how they add a pretty pop of color in my kitchen. Unfortunately I can’t find them for sale anymore but I came across both this set and the baking dishes below and think they are just as beautiful!! I’m attached to my hand-painted butter dish from a few Mother’s Days ago, otherwise I would definitely get this set.

The Pioneer Woman 2-Piece Ceramic Ruffled Baking Dishes I love pieces that add something different and the ruffled edges is what got me on these. They come in a nested size so they’re easy to store as well. They are also

And that’s that! Hope this could give you a few great ideas of what to get for the awesome mama in your life (or for yourself? That’s perfectly acceptable as well. 😉) & Happy Mother’s Day to all my fellow Mama Bears! ❤️
